Club Career

Stindl started his career playing for Karlsruher SC before moving to Hannover 96 in 2010. He had decent success for both clubs, but his breakthrough came after transferring to Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2015 in a deal worth €3m2. His first season for “the Foals” proved he made the right move – Stindl played 30 games, scoring 7 goals and assisting a further 8.

International Career

Stindl made his debut for the German senior national side in 2017 in a 1-1 draw versus Denmark and provided the assist for Joshua Kimmich’s 1-1 equalizer3. He scored his first goal against Australia in the Confederations Cup in 20174.
