It was once again Lionel Messi who was the top scorer in La Liga 2019-20. He scored 25 goals. Karim Benzema was second on 21 goals. Season Summary:

It is no surprise that Lionel Messi led the way in goals scored – he was also way out in front with shots and shots on target, 141 shots with 91 on target. When it comes to assists, it was the assist king himself, Iago Aspas who was second to last on 13 goals, 2 assists ahead of Marcos Llorente. From the penalty spot, Gerard Moreno was ice cool, a perfect record with 10 penalties taken, 10 scored. Most minutes on the pitch went to Kike, who was present for 3105 out of 3420 minutes.
